In other news, Austrian striker Mario Arnold has signed for English club Aston Villa. The 26-year-old forward joined Wolfsburg from Austria Wien last summer but struggled for regular playing time under head coach Lucien Favre. He made just three appearances for the club this season before joining Villa on loan until the end of the season.
Arnold is expected to provide competition for Villa's strikers, including Gabriel Jesus and Ollie Watkins. He will be hoping to make his debut for the club against Sheffield United on Sunday.
