The Italian giants Juventus have broken their own record for the most goals scored by any player in Serie A this season, with Matthijs de Ligt's brace against Crotone on Sunday evening.
The Dutch defender has now netted six goals in just four league games, breaking the previous record of five goals set by Cristiano Ronaldo during his time at Manchester United from 2018 to 2020.
De Ligt's impressive form has been a key factor in Juventus' resurgence in Serie A, as they currently sit top of the table and are looking to win their fifth consecutive Scudetto.
